History of Jakarta began ABFI Institute Perbanas when on February 19, 1969 Perbanas Education Foundation was formally established as a corporation. Then, YPP founded by the Academy of Banking Studies based on the needs of banking operational power is high enough at the time.
During its development, through the transition and the dynamics of tidal changes in the environment facing the industry and education, AIP (Academy of Banking Studies) Perbanas later renamed the AAP (Academy of Accounting and Banking). This is done considering the development needs of staff accountants and banks are increasing in this period.
At that time, education is offered three diploma (D-3) accounting and management fields of study are in line with the development needs of existing operational staff, and has been accredited by National Accreditation Board (BAN-PT), with an "A" ( Satisfactory)
